👋 Hey everyone,

This week’s newsletter was made possible by:
Keep up with tech in 5 minutes
TLDR is the free daily email with summaries of the most interesting stories in startups, tech, and programming. The stuff worth knowing, minus the doomscrolling.
Issues are curated by ex-Google and Anthropic engineers and land in your inbox before your morning coffee. A 5-minute read, and you walk into the day already knowing what your team is still catching up on.
Tech is just the start. We also cover AI, marketing, dev, and more. Pick the briefs that match your work.
Free, daily, and read by 7M+ subscribers. Subscribe and let the experts do the digging for the tech news that matters.
📚 Book Summary:
We’re halfway through 2026.
Here are some of the best books I’ve read this year:
If you’re into business or biographies, read “Steve Jobs In Exile” by Geoffrey Cain (summary here).
If you’re looking to improve your physical health, read “Breath” by James Nestor (summary here).
If you want to get better grades in school, read “Learn Like A Pro” by Barbara Oakley (summary here).
If you want to remember more of what you learn, read “Make It Stick” by Peter C. Brown (summary here).
If you want to know why everyone’s attention span has disappeared, read “Stolen Focus” by Johann Hari (summary here).

💎 Weekly Gem:
Documentary: Bad Sport
This is one of the most entertaining sports documentary series I’ve watched.
It follows six major sports scandals told by the athletes, coaches, and law enforcement officials who were involved.
You’ll learn about basketball point-shaving, Olympic figure-skating corruption, a drug-smuggling race-car driver, Italian soccer match-fixing, a horse-murder insurance scheme, and the fall of a beloved cricket captain.
If you’re into true crime or sports, you’ll enjoy this docuseries.
Your opinion matters!
