š Hey everyone,
Here are a few popular posts you may have missed:
š Support:
This week's newsletter was made possible by Beehiiv.
Beehiiv is the newsletter platform I use to send these emails.
If youāre a content creator or business owner, you need to have an email list. Otherwise youāll be dependent on the social media algorithm gods and wonāt have a direct line of communication with your followers.
Beehiiv is also super easy to set up and use.
š Book Summary:
This weekās book is āDisappointing Affirmationsā by Dave Tarnowski.
This is one of the funniest books I've ever read. Instead of clichƩ affirmations about happiness, it's filled with witty and hilarious sarcastic affirmations.
Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the book:
š
No one is coming to save you. You are the adult. Iām so sorry.
Stop overthinking. You are the only one who cares.
Things didnāt work out for a reason. The reason is you make terrible decisions.
Donāt let anyone tell you what you canāt do. Thatās what you have insecurities for.
Donāt be afraid to try new things. Like maybe getting your shit together.
Why do something right away when you can wait for it to give you crippling anxiety?
Donāt let anyone make you feel bad about yourself. Thatās your job. And nobody does it better.
You will never be alone. All of the stupid things youāve ever said and done will always be there to haunt you.
I am exactly where I want to be. At home, avoiding people.
Be kind to yourself, asshole.
š Weekly Gem:
Hormozi is like the David Goggins of business.
He doesnāt sugarcoat anything. Heāll tell it to you straight even if it hurts your feelingsājust like a best friend would.
This podcast will motivate you to take a honest look in the mirror and work harder because you know you can and should be doing much more.
