A&B May 2020 Recap
Hi everyone, here is your monthly Alex & Books recap:
Favorite Books:
I’ve managed to read 6 books last month. My two favorites were:
Anything You Want by Derek Sivers
It's a short business memoir that tells the story of how Sivers built CD Baby, how he sold it for $22 million, and 40 business lessons he learned along his journey.
100 Books That Changed The World by Scott Christianson
A beautifully illustrated book that acts as your personal time machine. It guides you through history to teach you about 100 books that, well, changed the world.
I also read:
How to Write Copy That Sells by Ray Edwards
The book covers the basics of copywriting.
What Game Are You Playing? by Robin Moriarty
A self-help book that shows you how to redefine success.
The Library by Stuart Kells
A great book about the history of libraries and famous bibliophiles.
Enchiridion by Epictetus
A short philosophy book filled with short pieces of life advice.

Tweet of the Month:
Reading tips from @naval:-Give yourself permission to quit books-Read what you love until you love to read-Buying books is an investment, not an expense-Skim chapters until you find something interesting-Read foundational books (ex: Darwin’s Origin of the Species)(This post went viral!
