A&B July Recap 2020

A&B July 2020 Recap

Hi everyone, here is your monthly Alex & Books recap:

Best Books:

Here are my two favorite books from last month:

  • The Mamba Mentality: How I Play by Kobe Bryant

    • Written by the late, great basketball player, this book gives you a chance to peek inside the mind of Kobe Bryant, how he studied the game, and the sacrifices he made to achieve greatness. If you're a basketball fan or want to learn what it takes to make it to the top, this book is a must.

    • PS: Read about how Kobe read the referee's handbook to become a better player.

  • The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction by Alan Jacobs

    • If you enjoy the reading tips I've shared on social media or in my book, you'll likely be a fan of this book. Alan Jacobs, a professor of English, shares lots of insights and wisdom on how to be a better reader and make it a delightful activity.
