      πŸ“š Book Lessons:

This week's book is How To Be A 3% Man by Corey Wayne.People really enjoyed last week's lessons from this book, so here are 3 more takeaways from it.(read part 1 here)1) Don't Buy Her Gifts Until You're DatingHere's a common mistake guys make: They buy gifts, flowers, and jewelry for a girl they've just met. This sounds like a great thing to do, so why shouldn't you do it? Because it makes you seem needy and comes off as a bribe for sex. If you're an amazing guy with a great life, your time and presence are already a gift to her. But if you bring her a gift on the first or second date, she'll feel uncomfortable because she has nothing to give you and might believe you're trying to use the gift as a way to persuade her to have sex with you sooner. You don't want to buy a woman any gifts until she's your girlfriend or in love with you.Save the gifts for when you're both in love and then treat her on her birthday, anniversary, etc.

      2) She'll Tell You When She's Ready For MarriageHow will you know when it's time to propose to your girlfriend? If you've been dating for 2-3+ years then the answer is pretty simple: she'll tell you. She'll say something along the lines of "Where is this going?" or "Are we just going to keep on dating or are we going to take the next step?"

Maybe she'll make a comment about a nice engagement ring when you walk by a jewelry store together or about a venue she thinks will be the perfect spot for a ceremony. Women are more indirect and likely won't bluntly ask you "When are we getting married?", but they will drop clues for you to get the hint.

      3) Dating Never Ends

Here's a quote from the book that will hit you hard:"If you don't date your wife or your girlfriend, some other guy eventually will." –Corey WayneAnd that's the truth. Even if you've been married for 20+ years, you still need to be dating your partner or else it won't work out (ex: Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos were both married to their wives for 25+ years but both marriages ended in divorce). You want to keep the romance and playfulness alive. You should be going on weekly date nights, doing new activities together, and getting intimate with one another. The couple that plays together stays together.

        βœ… Actionable Advice:

         1) Don't buy a girl gifts until she's your girlfriend:

        • Avoid buying a girl you've just must gifts because it will come across as needy or a bribe for sex.

        • Instead, wait until you're in a committed relationship or in love.

        2) Your girlfriend will tell you when she's ready to settle down:

        • You should date your girlfriend for 2-3 years before considering proposing to her.

        • Around that time if she's ready to get engaged, she'll start bringing up marriage, rings, and wedding venues, and that will be your hint that she's ready for the next step.

        3) Never stop dating your partner:

        • Dating never ends, even after you're married.

        • Keep the romance between you two alive by going on weekly date nights, doing new activities together, and being playful with one another.
