    👋 Hey everyone,

Here are a few popular posts you may have missed:

      📚 Book Lessons:

This week's book is The Founders by Jimmy Soni. Before Elon Musk was worth 200+ billion, he was a young and scrappy kid with a dream. This book shares the story of how Elon (and other big-name entrepreneurs) helped build PayPal into the giant it is today. Here are three lessons from the book:1) Reach Out To Interesting PeopleLike most students, Elon didn't a huge network of connections in college. So, he started reading newspapers and cold-calling people he found interesting. One day he cold-called an executive at the Bank of Nova Scotia and asked for a job.The executive was impressed by Elon's gumption and asked Elon to get lunch with him. That discussion eventually led Elon to getting an internship at the exec's company.

      2) Study The Success of OthersWhen a colleague walked into Elon's home, he saw that Elon's room was literally filled with books.Elon loved reading biographies about business luminaries such as Richard Branson and how they succeeded.Elon was prepping himself and studying to be a famous entrepreneur.

      3) Getting Fired Can Be A Blessing In Disguise

Getting fired from Apple allowed Steve Jobs to build Pixar.Similarly, getting fired from PayPal allowed Elon Musk to focus on his other passions–electric car and space exploration. This freed him up to build bigger and better things, like Tesla and SpaceX.

        ✅ Actionable Advice:

        1) Reach out to people you find interesting:

        • If there's someone you admire, send them a nice email or DM, it's low-risk and high-reward.

        • You never know who might reply.

        2) Study the people you admire:

        • Read books or listen to podcasts about the people you admire.

        • Look for cues to their success and learn from them.

        3) Find the good in the bad:

        • Always remember that a bad experience today can lead to a good experience tomorrow.

        • Maybe getting fired from a decent job will allow you to find an amazing job or start your own company.
