    👋 Hey everyone,

Here are a few popular posts you may have missed:

    PS: This week I

one of my favorite authors and thinkers–Jordan B. Peterson. If you're a fan of his books or videos, I recommend going to one of his lectures. He's incredibly intelligent and it's well worth the money to see him live.

      📚 Book Lessons:

This week's book is The Anxiety Toolkit by Alice Boyes.Anxiety is something all of us have to deal with, so I decided to share a few more lessons from the book:1) Break Big Tasks Into Smaller OnesSometimes just thinking of a big project can give you a lot of anxiety and stop you in your tracks. So instead of trying to tackle the whole project at once, break it down into a series of small and easy steps. In other words, shrink down the one big task into multiple small manageable ones. For example, if thinking about redoing your entire kitchen is giving you anxiety, think about just painting the walls one day. Then the next day, think about what new table you want. And so on and so on, until the kitchen is completely redone.2) Be Smart About ProcrastinationProcrastination isn't always a bad thing.Sometimes the urge to procrastinate is a cue that you need a mental break. Other times, it's a sign something else is more important. Here are two more pieces of advice about procrastinating well: Take breaks after you've done some work, not before. Try to do something useful while procrastinating–like cleaning your room or making some food.

      3) Practice MeditationMeditation is like Tylenol, it's able to help with multiple issues.Studies show that meditating decreases anxiety, boosts focus, and improves your ability to detect rumination. And you only have to meditate for 3-5 minutes to start seeing benefits from it.Researchers found that once people had meditated 12 times, there was a 90% chance they'd do it more often. So, give it a try and you'll soon see your anxiety levels decrease along with many other benefits.

        ✅ Actionable Advice:

        1) Break big projects into multiple small tasks:

        • A big project can be intimidating and stop you from doing anything at all.

        • But if you break it down into small tasks, it will be much more manageable and won't trigger your anxiety.

        2) Be smart about procrastination:

        • If you find yourself procrastinating, it may be a cue to take a break.

        • Try to still do something productive while procrastinating like cleaning up your room.

        3) Meditate for 3-5 minutes day:

        • Doing so will decrease your anxiety while simultaneously boosting your focus.
