Hey friends and happy Sunday.

I spent this week in Cancun, Mexico, relaxing and recharging. Here are three takeaways from my vacation:

1. If you want to get a lot of reading done, bring a book on your flight.

2. Reading on the beach is pure joy.

3. Wear more sunscreen (or you might end up looking like a lobster).

Although I was on vacation, I still craved out time to do some work. I wrote a

Alright, let's talk books.

📚 Book Lessons:

I recently finished a short and sweet book called The Strangest Secret by Earl Nightingale. The book is only 112 pages but the lessons within it are powerful. If you enjoyed As A Man Thinketh or Think & Grow Rich, you'll love this book.Here are 3 lessons from it: 1) You Are A Farmer & Your Mind Is The LandIf a farmer with a plot of land. If he plants tomatoes, tomatoes will grow. If he plants cucumbers, cucumbers will grow. Your life works in a similar manner. Your mind, like the land, doesn't care what is planted in it. It will return whatever you plant. If you plant negative thoughts, you'll get a bad life. But if you plant positive thoughts, you'll live a great life.That's why it's so important to be aware of your thoughts and know what's going on in your head. "If a man is working toward a predetermined goal and knows where he's going, that man is a success. If he's not doing that, he's a failure."When you don't have a goal, you don't know where you're going and thus, your mind becomes filled with confusion, anxiety, and fear. And those negative feelings will result in a life of frustration and worry.The person with a goal, however, knows where they want to go in life, knows what they need to get there, and knows thinking positive thoughts will help them reach what they set out to accomplish. 3) To Earn More, Help MoreThe only way to earn money is by providing people with services or products which are needed and useful. People are willing to exchange their money for products and services that make their life better.Most people believe that being successful means earning a lot of money, but that's wrong. The truth is that you can only earn a lot of money by helping a lot of money. Be of service to others and you'll find there's always money to be made. As Earl Nightingale wrote, "No man can get rich himself unless he enriches others."

✅ Actionable Advice:

1) Always remember that your mind will grow what you plant in it.

• You want to plant positive thoughts in your life so that you live a good and happy life.

2) If you want to be successful, you need to have a goal of what you want to pursue.

• Grab a piece of paper and write down your goals.

• Write down your dream job, what kind of house you want to live in, the type of partner you want in your life, and so on.

• Once you know what you want, it will be much easier to know which direction to head towards.

3) If you want to make more money, help more people.

• The more people you help, the more money you'll make.

• Think of a product or service you could start as a side hustle to start earning more money.
