This week's book is The Conversion Code by Chris Smith. This book is all about digital marketing, getting quality leads, and increasing sales. If you run a small business, you'll find this book helpful. Here are 3 lessons from it:1) How To Grow On InstagramWhen it comes to social media, Instagram is still the preferred app for most businesses and customers. Here are a few tips to grow your following: Focus on creating carousel posts and reels since these are the two most overperforming content pieces Use a poll sticker on your story to increase views and engagement Add hashtags and trending music to your reels to increase your reach Keep reels to 30 seconds or less Repost your reels to TikTok and YouTube shorts (work smarter not harder) Post well-written comments on posts in your niche to attract new followers to your profile Run giveaways and make one of the rules to follow your account and to tag a friend Have only one CTA in your bio (if you have multiple ones it's likely people won't do any of them)(Sidenote: I have 4 social media coaching spots left. If you want to talk about how to grow on Instagram, Twitter, or TikTok, I'd be happy to help you. Secure your spot here.) 2) A Cheatsheet For Getting More Sales Chris worked in sales for 2 billionaires and runs an 8-figure company, here's his best advice to get more sales:  Spend more time building rapport:  Successful calls lasted around 6 minutes while unsuccessful calls lasted only 3 minutes   Discuss price later in the call:  Top performers discussed price 45 minutes into the call whereas average performers discussed it 15 minutes in   Listen more than you talk:  The top salespeople listen 54% of the call and talk 46% of the time The bottom salespeople listen 28% of the time and talk 72% of the time   Get the spouse to join the call:  There is a 258% higher chance of closing a deal when the spouse is also on the call   Confirm appointments by calling them or at least leaving a voicemail  When there is no appointment reminder 39% of people cancel When there's a voicemail only 24% of people cancel When you call them only 3% of people cancel   Top 3 traits of high-performing salespeople:  They put in the effort every day They maintain a positive attitude They constantly look for ways to improve  3) Bonus lessons from the book: 15 Lessons from the bestselling book "The Conversion Code."
