📚 Books Summary:
Instead of one summary this week, here are 3 short summaries of books I’ve enjoyed recently:
📖
1) “The Art of Spending Money” by Morgan Housel
Morgan’s first book was about how to invest your money wisely. His latest book is about how to spend your money wisely.
It’s not about budgeting or hacks, but rather it’s about choice, freedom, and how you can get the most out of your money.
It’s a thought-provoking read that blends psychology, philosophy, and storytelling to share a unique perspective on money. It will teach you to view money not as a goal, but as a tool for freedom, happiness, and meaning. Highly recommend it.
📖
2) “Before & After The Book Deal” by Courtney Maum
If you’re looking to land your first book deal or are currently working on your first book, this book is an excellent guide.
In it, you’ll learn how to:
Find time to write
Pitch book agents
Work with your editor
Understand book contracts
Market and launch your book
And so much more. It basically summarizes everything you need to know as a first-time author. It’s a delight to read and incredibly informative. Definitely worth getting a copy if you want to become an author.
📖
3) “The Atomic Habits Workbook” by James Clear
After selling 25+ million copies, James is releasing the official workbook for “Atomic Habits” (his team sent me an early copy and it’s fantastic).
This workbook is packed with:
Short summaries of the most important lessons from “Atomic Habits”
Journaling prompts to help you better understand your habits
Templates to help you track your habits and progress
It also has a few new lessons that you won’t find in his original book. If you want to build better habits or break bad ones, I highly recommend getting this workbook and completing the exercises to have an amazing 2026.
