2019 Q1 A&B Newsletter

Best Books & Lessons of 2019 (so far)

Hey everyone, here's an update on A&B 2019:

My favorite books of 2019 (so far):

  1. "Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins

    1. Goggins has been called the "hardest man alive"–He's a Navy SEAL turned ultra-endurance athlete. He's run 60+ ultra-marathons and triathlons, often running races of 100+ miles.

      1. A must-read book for all.

  2. "Living with a SEAL (David Goggins)” by Jesse Itzler

    1. Before Goggins became famous, Itzler was a millionaire who felt stuck in life and asked Goggins to train him for 30 days. Goggins took Itzler on the craziest workout routine imaginable including running in a snowstorm, doing hundreds of burpees and diving into a frozen lake.

      1. A hilarious and great companion read to "Can't Hurt Me."

  3. "Tribe” by Sebastian Junger

    1. Junger is a war journalist that explains why people need tribes, why citizens of rich countries are usually less happy than those of poorer countries, why soldiers miss war and how to best deal with PTSD.

      1. A great read for military members and people interested in learning about why humans are tribal people.
